The bill (Reg.
No. 8571) corrects legal deficiencies in part of actions taken in response to
discriminatory acts, and strengthens legislative provisions on anti-discrimination
investigation, negotiations with the competent bodies of foreign states, and
decision-making in response to the discriminatory actions.
The bill amends clauses 9, 16 and 29 of the Law "On Foreign Economic Activity" to specify the procedure of taking action in response to discriminatory acts and the decision-making order. The goal of the bill is to determine powers of the bodies in charge of state regulation of foreign economic activity in terms of response to the discriminatory actions.
